Ento partners with the John Lewis Partnership to optimize energy across 500 UK sites

We are really proud and excited to be partnering with some of the UK's best known and most loved retail brands through our new cooperation with the John Lewis Partnership, joined up by True.

The agreement includes monitoring and analytics of electricity and gas consumption across almost 500 sites including all John Lewis & Partners department stores and Waitrose & Partners supermarkets in the UK as well as distribution centres, offices and other ancillary buildings.

Running a very energy intensive operation, JLP traditionally has a very strong focus on sustainability and has worked proactively with energy savings and energy efficiency for decades. And with rising energy costs, the only way to keep costs down is to cut energy spend. By using Ento's AI, the technical team can now even better:

🔹 Prioritize & Act: Focus on buildings with the highest savings potential first

🔹 Spot inefficiencies: Spot and deal with energy waste problems instantly

🔹 Quantify Impact: Measure and verify the results of interventions using our automated Measurement and Verification (M&V) feature, which is aligned with IPMVP principles

Without installing any new hardware, the first step was to use our AI to automatically analyse consumption and identify the best opportunities. By doing so the opportunity for JLP could be demonstrated very early in the conversation leading to a quick decision to go ahead with Ento.

We look forward to supporting JLP and their technical team at Novus Integration reducing energy consumption across hundreds of major retail sites across the UK.
